Title Page Wording
For a D.Min. project or M.A. thesis, lines from top to bottom. Words in brackets are yours to fill in. An M.A. thesis says “A Thesis” and names the master’s degree instead. Class papers use the standard Turabian class paper title page: the title, then your name, the course, your professor, and the date.
Rules Students Often Miss
- Use the full note the first time you cite a source, then a shortened note (author’s last name, short title, page) after that.
- Block quotations of five or more lines are single-spaced, indented, and have no quotation marks.
- Bibliography entries use a hanging indent and list every source cited in the notes.
- Front matter is numbered with lowercase Roman numerals; the text starts over at page 1.
- Your mentor or professor may add requirements of their own, so check your course syllabus and project handbook.
